Born in Coruña in 1957, Luísa Villalta was a writer, teacher and violinist committed to feminist values, ecologists and cultural of Galicia. His career spanned multiple genres, where poetry ties theater, passing through the narrative and the essay, always use our language as a flag.
Villalta, who actively participated in movements such as the Festa da Palabra Silenciada and Burla Negra, and was a member of the Board for Linguistic Standardization and the Association of Writers in the Galician Language, leaves a legacy that continues to inspire.
On this Day of Galician Letters 2024, We remember and celebrate his life and work, recognizing his invaluable contribution to Galician literature and culture. 📝🎻
